An ESRC grant has been awarded to the lab that will allow a secondary data analysis to be conducted on data previously collected by the Wangu Kanja Foundation. This research will be used to investigate further the nature of sexual violence, barriers survivors face in accessing post rape care services, and the reasons why so few cases are prosecuted. These findings are especially relevant to SDG5, which concerns gender equality and empowerment of women. More information about the grant can be found here
